Rockin Bones Videozine - OUT OF PRINT [13 Aug 2006|09:29pm]

[This was recoreded in Texas and features a lot of Texas bands. Vol. 3 is explicitly horror rock oriented. In case anyone was curious as to why I found this relevant to the community.]

All of the back issues of Rockin' Bones Videozines are OUT OF PRINT. However, I have a handful of them left.

Brand new still wrapped: Rockin' Bones Videozines are in the tradition of Flipside and Target Video, these DVDs feature raw live footage and candid interviews with many bands, including: Dead Kennedys, TSOL, UK Subs, The Casualties, The Briefs, Unit 21, The Dwarves, The Adicts, Voodoo Glow Skulls, The Murder Junkies, Turbonegro, Nashville Pussy, The Riverboat Gamblers and tonnnnns more.

They're $12 shipped in the USA (I'll ship internationally for more). Reply here or email charismadistro@yahoo.com with questions/comments. You can also purchase them via paypal HERE.

You can find all the trailers at the ROCKIN BONES MYSPACE.

Undoing of David Wright - WEST COAST TOUR [13 Aug 2006|06:45pm]

"The Undoing of David Wright is one of those bands that will become an underground music darling, they have the heart and the style to do it."
- The Scatter

"...creative, talented, unique and actually a blast to see live... The Undoing of David Wright will absolutely eat the lunch of these derivative little New Wave groups that you guys love to hype so much."
- Dallas Observer

"If you were to pummel an ipod loaded with Birthday Party and Thrill Kill Kult tracks through a sonic supercollider the result would come close to The Undoing of David Wright. These Denton death rock darlings infuse a diverse array of influences... Their innovative aesthetics, creative story telling, pounding rhythms, and raucous live show, however, never fail to pack performances with the gyrating bodies of smiling fans."

Something. X-posted [02 Jun 2006|12:36pm]

I don't think that I am pushing the experimentation of literature far enough. I want to push literature further than Andre Breton, Doug Nufer, Christian Bok, Robert Rankin, Eckhard Gerdes, Kenji Siratori, William S. Burroughs, Kathy Acker, and Laurence Sterne could have ever hoped to do. I want to be so experimental that I am literally the only person who has ever done something like that (even if the whole idea seems childish and impossible). I want to make it hard to people to pull out the kind of comparison that I hate; the kind that goes: "XX already did something close to this in the past, so no one should ever do anything even close to it ever again." I like comparisons that go, like: "Your work reminds me of XX," but I hate that first kind. So, in that respect (and in many others) I want to make it hard for anyone to be able to pull out that first comparison.

more of a manifesto, or something that has anything to do with the wordCollapse )

I don't know much about this, but I like it... [09 Apr 2006|02:05pm]

In my pursuit to see who else is using LULU like me, I like to browse the titles.  I came across this person, who calls himself XX.  I'm not sure if this person (I don't know if it is a woman or a man) is serious or what, but I like the idea.  Of course, I would.  It combines two things that I like:  weird lit and an anti-gov't agenda.

And, there is a paperback:

FUCK BUSH paperback

The latest novel that I did with David L. Tamarin has gotten some reviews posted on the Internet, largely due to David's contacts on the net. For those of you who don't know my entire publishing history by heart (everyone, but zero people), the title of the book is My Love Affair With David Lynch and Peachy Like Nietzsche: Dark Clown Porn Snuff for Terrorists and GorefiendsI did it!!!Collapse )

puffy jesus sticker [26 Jul 2005|06:25pm]

(also similarly posted to Neobeatniks. Deal with the repetition, son).

I'm new. So, I have this beast of a thing that won't stop ever since I went on a bender and started writing it. It involves Doktor Benway (character from Burroughs), Doctor Sax (character from Kerouac), and Docktor Clock (one of my own little ladies). Random, inane, and asinine.

If you're bored, give it a read.

Taste-test real quick-like, with link below:

Docktor Benway screams, "What the fuck, Doctor? I believe the nurses have been sodomizing the mannequins again. Damn those anatomical parts! The transparency lends the ruse of reality! Goddamned colons!"
Doctor Sax: "Mwee-ha-haa, Doktor! They love the education! Clear sliding tubes like the crystal innards of an East Indian, Benway, could you resist yourself?"
"Perhaps on the correct prescriptions, mister mister. They'd have to give me the eighteen units, you understand. The chlorox has sufficiently cleared my veins, you see. Like virgin cunts, they are."
"Mwee-ha-haa, Doktor. Have you found the cure?"
"The chemicals indeed, Doctor. Correctly cooked, the Comet screams like orgasmic banshees through the heart. Marvelous really. Goddamn, where have they left my tongs? Probably using as chopsticks, goddamned chinks."

Doktor Benway

please [18 May 2005|09:56pm]

i normally don't post these, but this is dreadfully important. we have to speak out against this law or risk america becoming a police state. anyone who doesn't want to risk 2-10 years of a mandatory minimum sentence in a federal prison for refusing to narc on a family member or close friend for smoking a joint would do well to forward this letter to their local state representative. thank you.

First Draft of "Justice of the Cross" a poem [19 Mar 2005|02:32pm]

[ mood | contemplative ]

Brick wall smash up framed in the heart of justice. No reason and facts forgotten when proof is no burden. Crushed under snake head boots castillian by crossing a red eyed monster and a pocket full of golden eagles. I try running for the boarder only to be stopped by the blue shield's gun in my face. The gravity of absolute truth remains in the unwanted martyr saying Satanic prophesy as the bullet finds home again.
